On the Alderson Trail

Lunch over we began our descent to Waterton town on the Alderson Trail. Just past mid-picture we dropped down into an area of lush growth and abundant wildlife. Small waterfalls appeared around each bend. We spent 20 minutes with a covey of Ptarmigans. The descent became very steep as we approached the Carthew Lakes and steeper yet to Alderson Lake. Slow, tiny, steps again.
